He took an old original 1920’s beach house and converted it into a comfortable, hip place where people could meet, hang out, study, and just mingle with friends while sipping great coffee drinks and incredible homemade desserts. Each month a different local artist’s work is showcased on the coffeehouse walls. All the desserts are made daily at Ocean Diner along with great sandwiches and salads. Besides all the required caffeine drinks, Java Man offers hard to find bottled sodas from around the country as well as made from scratch Iced Mochas and White Chocolate Chillers. Organic teas, both herbal and caffeinated, are becoming popular, especially the many green teas offered. The House coffee, which is a blend of Kenya, Sumatra, French and Columbian is also served at Ocean Diner and is available for purchase in whole bean form as well.
